CMC has been awarded the design and construction of a new processing facility for Vermont Smoke & Cure in Hinesburg, VT. Vermont Smoke & Cure crafts some of the finest summer sausage, bacon, ham and other smoked meats in the world.
An existing 37,000 SF warehouse will be renovated to house the new USDA processing facility. Shipping and receiving docks at opposite ends of the building will allow for a linear flow of product to maximize food safety and plant efficiency.
Construction is scheduled to begin within the next several weeks for an anticipated completion in the early spring of 2012.
