CMC Design Build has been maximizing efficiency in Food and Beverage Facilities since 1989. Although based in Quincy, Massachusetts CMC Design Build has been successfully planning, designing, and building food processing facilities throughout the North East for almost two decades. This is true for the state of New York, where we have completed numerous large projects in recent years.
These projects include building multiple food processing facilities for Hood. The first project for Hood in New York took place in Oneida. CMC Design Build provided design and construction services for a 50,000-square foot addition to their existing facility. This included adding 1,400 tons of refrigeration to the plant. Additionally, the project added new Extended Shelf Life processing operations and a new incubator facility.
In Vernon, New York CMC Design Build provided design, engineering, and construction services for a 23,000-square foot cooler at Hood’s cultured dairy facility. This project involved replacing the facilities existing cooler. The construction portion was completed using a phasing process allowing the facility to operate uninterrupted during the build.
CMC Design Build partnered with Cortland Produce to build a 21,000-square foot food service distribution facility in Cortland, New York. This project included planning, design, and construction services for a facility that was vacant the year prior. CMC Design Build repaired the walls and added new refrigeration systems.
