Bakery Addition

Bake ‘n Joy selected CMC Design-Build to design and construct a 12,000 SF bakery addition to its headquarters. The new bakery produces high-quality coffee cakes, loaf cakes and dessert cakes under the Boston Coffee Cake brand.

The project included the installation of a tunnel oven, spiral cooler, and packaging lines. The bakery is state-of-the-art in terms of sanitation and efficiency, earning the Global Food Safety Safe Quality Food (SQF) Level 3 certification from NSF International for sanitation excellence. CMC also renovated the existing corporate office space as part of the project.
