CMC provided site selection, material handling design, architecture, engineering and construction services for Dari Farms’ new ice cream distribution facility.
The 80,000 square foot phase 1 construction included freezer and dry storage areas as well as office and employee welfare areas. The site is master planned for 125,000 SF at build out. The key features of the facility are as follows:
- Central ammonia refrigeration system
- Vertical dock levelers
- Double-interlock fire protection systems
- Combination of single and double deep rack
