110,000 SF Foodservice Distribution Facility Expansion.
CMC has designed, engineered and constructed two projects for NorthCenter Foodservice, a division of Performance Food Group. These projects have increased the facility by over 110,000 square feet by adding freezer, dry storage, and office space.
Projects included very narrow aisle, PIR selection, vertical storing dock levelers, truck restraints and central refrigeration. The new central refrigeration plant was designed to utilize Freon. This allowed NorthCenter to reuse their existing split system evaporators, thereby reducing cost. The system has vessel and line capacity to accommodate the ultimate expansion of the facility.
In both expansions, CMC also designed and built new office facilities, including a new test kitchen and seminar facility.
