Project Info
CMC provided a 165,000 SF Foodservice Distribution Facility Renovation for Siegel Egg Company, Inc.
CMC was selected to renovate a 165,000 square foot warehouse for Siegel Egg Company, Inc. The renovation entailed the construction of nearly 70,000 square feet of cooler and freezer space serviced by a new central Freon refrigeration system. This energy efficient refrigeration system qualified for a substantial rebate from the local utility supplier.
Siegel Egg was faced with eviction from their existing facility which required the project to be completed within a nearly impossible schedule. Siegel only had 3.5 months from the date that CMC was awarded the contract until they had to evacuate their existing facility.
Through extensive planning and coordination with the sub-contractors and the client, CMC was able to finish the construction ahead of schedule, as well as under budget, allowing Siegel to begin receiving product fifteen days prior to the deadline.
