CMC Design-Build has begun the first sequence of structural steel erection at Daniele Process. There will be seventeen more sequences that will take place during the life of the project. CMC’s team of engineers anticipates that the steel erection process will take fourteen weeks to complete. The concrete foundation work is approximately ninety percent complete and the insulated metal wall panels are on target for October 1st.
Daniele is one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of fine Italian specialty meats, selling to retailers and restaurants across the country. CMC is currently working on multiple projects for the company and has moved into Phase two of the 340,000 SF expansion of the Burrillville, RI salami and prosciutto processing facility.
The first phase, a 49,000 SF cooler and refrigerated loading dock, was completed on time and under budget in the spring of 2013. The next phase will incorporate the world’s most advanced processing and material handling techniques in the industry.
This is CMC’s ninth project for Daniele.
