Manufacturing Facility Expansion

CMC provided design and construction services for a 25,000 SF freezer and refrigerated dock expansion to the Eastern Ice manufacturing facility in Fall River, MA.

The refrigeration upgrades and multi-zoned freezer has given Eastern Ice the flexibility to utilize their space in a number of different ways.

The design of the facility included numerous upgrades to the building envelope, mechanical systems and equipment that will reduce utility consumption and qualified for over $250,000 in incentives through National Grid’s Design 2000plus program. Eastern Ice is fully utilizing their new space for ice storage and contract freezing
